Job Description
Join a fast-paced music tour project as a short-form video editor, working directly with a content creator capturing daily moments on the road with an active music act. You'll be responsible for transforming hours of raw, unstructured footage into engaging, story-driven social media content that captures the energy and behind-the-scenes life of touring musicians. This role requires a keen storytelling eye, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to staying ahead of a demanding content calendar.
The contract starts immediately and runs for four weeks, with daily uploads and a clear footage index to guide your edits.
Deliverables
- Edit 1–3 short-form videos per day (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) from daily raw footage uploads
- Create a variety of content types: tour vlogs, performance highlights with text overlays, candid behind-the-scenes moments, and talking-to-performance segments
- Use the provided Footage Index to identify and select key moments for each deliverable
- Ensure all content is optimized for social media platforms and delivered on schedule, with a focus on staying ahead of the posting calendar
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Demonstrated experience editing short-form lifestyle, creator, or music content (portfolio required)
- Strong storytelling skills and ability to craft narratives from unstructured footage
- Understanding of pacing and trends for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Ability to work independently, manage daily deadlines, and start immediately
- Reliable internet connection for daily file transfers via Google Drive
- Availability Monday to Friday, 3–4 hours per day, for a 4-week contract
