Senior Dental Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator
In-person | Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $29–$33 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: 32–37 hours per week
About the Role
We are a growing well-established, patient-focused dental practice seeking an experienced Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator who can confidently manage the flow of a busy office while delivering an exceptional patient experience.
This role is ideal for a seasoned dental receptionist who takes ownership, thrives in a structured environment, and understands the importance of both efficiency and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience
- Manage a busy schedule, optimizing appointment flow and provider productivity
- Coordinate treatment plans and clearly communicate with patients
- Handle insurance submissions, estimates, and direct billing
- Oversee accounts receivable (A/R) and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and proactive front desk
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3+ years of dental reception experience (required)
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance workflows
- Proven ability to manage A/R and insurance confidently and independently
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with digital systems and practice management software
