The Manager, Integration Management Office (IMO) is responsible for supporting the successful integration of newly acquired businesses into TMX Group's operations, from the due diligence phase through to the final integration of the future operating model. The Manager will work to ensure various workstreams are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high quality standard. The role requires strong project management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This individual will also provide support to the Strategy team with ad hoc analysis and special projects, as the need arises. This role reports to: Director, Integration Management Office This role is hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office) - based in Toronto, ON. Key Accountabilities: The Manager plans, controls and executes upon approved integration programs by carrying out the following activities using TMX standard processes and toolsets: Due Diligence Partner with Corporate Development during the due diligence process and support the Director in determining integration costs, revenue/cost synergies, integration risks and means to mitigate. Work with Business Unit (BU) teams to define integration vision, future operating model, and resource requirements to drive execution. Change Management and Operating Model Collaborate with Business Unit (BU) leaders to define the future operating model. Develop and execute change management strategies to successfully transition stakeholders to enable growth of joint operations. In partnership with Corporate Communications, lead the end-to-end integration communications workstream to deliver a seamless Day 1 Employee Experience and maintain stakeholder engagement through the critical first 100 days and long term. Project Management Define the scope of the integration, in collaboration with BU teams to identify the key drivers which will be used to evaluate the integration program upon completion. Develop program charter and support the creation of comprehensive integration plans for Day 1 Readiness/100 day/long-term including workstream timelines, resource requirements, and means to monitor risks/issues. Manage multiple workstreams, monitor approved project budget, scope and timelines, actioning variances on a timely basis. Escalate critical issues to keep delivery on track. Prepare deliverables for regular integration status and Steering Committee meetings. Manage core toolset including 100 day/long-term trackers, RAID log, and complete meeting minutes for integration status meetings. Support monthly program financial reporting of budget-to-actuals and quarterly forecasting. Support development of benchmarks and reporting. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with BU and enterprise departments (i.e., Finance, Technology, HR and Legal) to ensure a successful and efficient integration process, and facilitate cross-functional training and knowledge transfer to newly acquired employees. Post-Integration Evaluation Review ongoing performance of the integrated business with the Corporate Development and Finance teams, monitoring and reporting on the realization of synergies and KPIs. Conduct and document lessons learned at 100 day milestone and program completion to improve future integrations. Integration Playbook Support refinement of TMX’s integration playbook including associated tools, templates, and methodologies, and incorporate lessons learned, to foster continuous improvement. Must have(s): Minimum 5 years experience in post-merger integration, consulting, or project management (PM) with a focus on operating model, organizational design and change management. Undergraduate degree in related discipline or equivalent PM work experience within the financial services industry. Proven track record leading multiple workstreams independently, as part of a large-scale integration. Exceptional project management, organization, and time management skills with ability to think strategically, analyze complex situations, and deal with ambiguity to keep delivery on track. Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work through challenges systematically to find pragmatic solutions. Advanced presentation building and financial modelling skills, with ability to craft high quality deliverables with minimal supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively and build a network of relationships across all levels of the organization. Nice to have(s): MBA or Masters level education PMP certification CCMP or Prosci® certifications Experience with change management methodologies and best practices Knowledge of Workday Salary Range: 120,000/year -130,000/year CAD Please note that the salary range included is a guideline only.
