Job Description

As a Senior Vendor Manager at Truww, you will be responsible for managing the network of vendors, including carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations by shortlisting vendors, negotiating rates, providing induction and training, monitoring performance, conducting quality control visits, assigning vendors to projects, and approving payments.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and shortlist reliable vendors for various projects
  • Negotiate favorable rates and contracts while adhering to budgetary guidelines
  • Conduct vendor induction and provide project-specific training
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
  • Conduct quality control visits to assess workmanship and adherence to project specifications
  • Assign vendors to projects based on expertise and availability
  • Review and approve vendor invoices and payment requests promptly
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve any vendor-related issues efficiently

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi; English skills are desirable
  • Proven vendor management experience in the interiors or construction industry
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of construction and interiors project management
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams

Location: Bangalore
