Job Description
Accountable for propelling sales and marketing initiatives for Truist Mortgage Loan products in compliance with bank policies. Supports cross-selling endeavors for other bank services and insurance products, giving clients first-rate advice and assistance.
Crucial tasks and mandates:
- Devise and implement successful mortgage marketing tactics and business growth plans to achieve or surpass production objectives.
- Keep yourself well-versed in the mortgage strategies, policies, procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines utilized by Truist.
- Embrace full compliance with Truist policies and procedures, including state and federal regulatory frameworks.
- Supplying expert mortgage advice based on a thorough understanding of the client's needs and the advantages of Truist Mortgage products.
- Adhere to Truist's referral procedure by facilitating the connection of mortgage clients with extra banking services.
- Provide assistance with the documentation follow-up for mortgage loans involving clients, legal professionals, or property assessors as essential during quality assurance or post-transaction scrutiny.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in banking or lending, along with basic knowledge of residential property types.
- Strong capabilities in organization, as well as clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Displays solid interpersonal capabilities and demonstrates prowess in negotiation.
- Ability with pertinent computer software.
- The requirements of the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act mandate that individuals obtain NMLS registration and clear a background screening within a 30-day timeframe.
Preferred Qualifications
- The position mandates either a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field, or an equal amount of experience in financial sales.
- With a background of over two years in residential mortgage lending, adept at navigating the local market nuances and regulatory mandates.
