Experience Required: 8–10 Years of WTG O&M experience (OEM/IPP preferred).

Qualification: Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. GWO certification preferred.
Role Overview
The WTG O&M Manager is responsible for leading and managing the overall operations and maintenance of wind turbine generators to achieve safe, reliable, and high-performance plant operations. The role involves supervising O&M teams, planning and controlling preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all WTG safety protocols, LOTO procedures, statutory requirements, and company standards. The manager monitors turbine performance, analyses SCADA-based alarms and trends, drives root-cause analysis of recurring issues, and implements improvement actions to maximize availability and generation. The position requires coordinating with OEMs, contractors, and specialized service teams for scheduled maintenance, major component replacements, blade repairs, and heavy-lift operations. The manager also oversees budgeting, spare parts planning, contractor management, and documentation for audits and stakeholder reporting. Overall, the role focuses on strategic planning, team leadership, technical governance, and operational efficiency to ensure high turbine uptime, optimized costs, and safe site operations.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of WTG electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems, SCADA monitoring and data trend analysis, Maintenance planning, RCA methods, and reliability improvements, Knowledge of major component replacement procedures, LOTO, WTG safety standards, and statutory compliance.
Domain Knowledge: Wind turbine systems, Grid interface and power evacuation concepts, Wind farm O&M best practices and OEM procedures, Contract and vendor management practices, Inventory planning and asset lifecycle management
