TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for Senior Civil Engineers and Designers to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

As part of our Civil/Structural team, you’ll collaborate with global experts and support safe, efficient execution of mining and heavy industrial projects. Depending on your background, you may focus on:

Civil Engineers

• Structural design of steel, concrete, and heavy foundations
• Seismic, wind, and dynamic analysis
• Engineering calculations, reviews, and design criteria
• Vendor coordination, construction support, and interdisciplinary reviews
• Leading small scopes or acting as an Area Lead

Civil Designers

• 2D & 3D CAD modeling (MicroStation, SP3D, AutoCAD, OpenRoads)
• Producing quality civil/structural drawings and models
• Field support and interdisciplinary coordination
• Mentoring junior designers and supporting CAD standards

Requirements

Civil Engineer

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

✔ ~10 years relevant experience (min. 4 years in mining)

✔ Strong background in structural engineering

✔ Professional registration (P.Eng) an asset

Civil Designer

✔ 2‑year technical diploma or equivalent experience

✔ 2–5 years of mining experience

✔ Strong proficiency in 2D/3D CAD platforms

For Both Roles

✔ Strong communication & teamwork skills

✔ Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail

✔ Familiarity with engineering standards, codes & best practices
