Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and articulate Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR at TripGain, you will be the frontline voice of the company proactively reaching out to senior decision-makers at enterprises across India to generate qualified pipeline for our T&E SaaS product.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role. You will work closely with Account Executives and the Product Marketing team to sharpen messaging, drive outreach, and open doors with the right stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Own outbound prospecting — identify and reach out to CFOs, Finance Controllers, Travel Managers, HR Leaders, and Admin Heads at mid and large enterprises across India via phone, email, LinkedIn, as well as ABM tools
- Conduct high-volume, high-quality telecalling — initiate conversations that clearly communicate TripGain's value proposition and qualify interest
- Build and manage a prospect pipeline — research target accounts, map decision-makers, and maintain accurate records in the CRM
- Schedule discovery calls and demos for the Account Executive team with qualified prospects
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, pitch scripts, and outreach sequences based on prospect feedback
- Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for connects, qualified leads, and meetings booked
- Mentor junior SDRs and enable them to efficiently research and reach out to prospects.
- Stay updated on the T&E landscape, competitor offerings, and enterprise buying trends to sharpen your pitching
Preferred candidate profile
Who You Are
Must-Have
- 3–6 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or tele-calling role — with at least 2 years in a SaaS product company
- Proven track record of consistent pipeline generation through outbound calling to senior stakeholders (C-suite, VP/Director level)
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or regional languages is a plus
- Comfortable with high call volumes and capable of handling objections with confidence and composure
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and sales engagement platforms
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient — you don't take "no" personally
Good to Have
- Prior experience selling to Finance, HR, or Admin functions in enterprise companies
- Exposure to the T&E, HRMS, or expense management category
- Understanding of the enterprise SaaS buying cycle in India — procurement processes, multi-stakeholder selling, and long sales cycles
- Experience working in a startup or early-growth SaaS environment
- Familiarity working with ABM and/or AI-enabled tools
