We are looking for an entrepreneurial and deeply experienced Cybersecurity Marketing Professional to take ownership of our specialized Cyber and Information Security Portfolio
.In this dual leadership capacity, you will serve as the strategic architect translating advanced technical concepts into viable, high-demand educational programs for both corporate and public sector professionals. The ideal candidate possesses an uncommon professional background that combines deep technical credibility in information security with high-level institutional marketing and business development capabilities
As the portfolio leader, the selected Consultant will design the future of cybersecurity training for public and private sector professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Spearheading Cyber program training strategy and launching advanced courses in cutting-edge areas like applied AI, insider threat, and misinformation analysis
- Flagship Innovation: Scaling delivery of immersive Cyber Range live crisis simulations and expanding the institute's specialized cyber detection tool
- Strategic Alliances: Partnering with enterprise industry leaders and aligning programming with the Faculty of Engineering
- Market Leadership: Acting as a trusted authority and thought leader through executive briefings, speaking engagements, and targeted business development
This role requires a rare blend of deep technical cybersecurity credibility, public sector insight, and institutional marketing acumen.
Minimum requirements
- 15+ Years of dedicated experience in cyber and information security
- Public Sector Expertise: Deep knowledge of federal, provincial, and municipal government priorities, with essential experience co-designing training for the Public Service
- Higher Ed Familiarity: Proven experience navigating the Canadian university sector
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in institutional marketing planning and conducting financial viability assessments for cybersecurity programs
