Job Title: Operations Manager (Night Shift)

Shift: 7 PM- 4 AM IST

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of professionals supporting US export operations for polymers
• Set direction, priorities, and workload distribution across teams
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational, customer, and stakeholder issues
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service levels
• Ensure strong governance across functions including inventory management, contracts, invoice validation, supplier coordination, and collaboration with accounting teams
• Provide oversight to operations involving shipping lines, truckers, and warehouses to ensure shipments are executed as planned
• Ensure compliance with US export regulations, internal SOPs, and audit requirements
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends and risks, and implement corrective actions
• Partner closely with US-based teams and senior stakeholders to ensure continuity across time zones

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• 8–12+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or export operations
• 3–5+ years of people management experience, preferably managing large teams
• Strong knowledge of US export processes, documentation, and compliance
• Hands-on experience working with shipping lines, freight contracts, truckers, and warehouses
• Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven operations in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in polymers, chemicals, or commodities logistics is a plus
• Proficiency with ERP systems, logistics platforms, and MS Excel preferred
