woodworker / carpenter

Our small ecommerce business is looking for a woodworker / carpenter who can work independently and efficiently to produce kitchen cutting boards and other basic wooden products with a craftsman's attention to detail. A successful applicant would be comfortable setting his / her own priorities, producing wooden kitchen products to the company's specifications in a commercial workshop environment while maintaining a clean and safe work space.

NOTE: This job may start as part-time and convert to a full-time position for successful hires. Or, depending your experience and references, it may begin as full time. Please drop us a line and let us know your favorite type of wood.

The ideal applicant will be comfortable using saws and electric sanders and have experience making physical products, ideally in woodworking or carpentry. All candidates must be able to work legally in the U.S.

Depending on skills and preferences, this job may also involve packaging the products in boxes for shipment via UPS and the U.S. Postal Service.

Successful candidates will be reliable, proven hard workers capable of independent work. Experience with power and hand tools are required, and experience with a CNC machine / router is a plus.
