Job Description

  • Team Leadership & Training: Recruiting, scheduling, mentoring, and conducting performance evaluations for front desk staff to meet company standards.
  • Guest Service & Experience: Managing guest interactions, ensuring a warm welcome, handling special requests, and proactively addressing inquiries.
  • Complaints Handling: Resolving escalated guest issues efficiently to turn negative experiences into positive ones, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Operational Control: Supervising daily check-ins/check-outs, reviewing room assignments, managing room availability, and coordinating with departments like housekeeping for, say, guest room status.
  • Financial & Admin: Monitoring daily financial transactions (cashiering, billing), processing payments, reviewing night audit reports, and managing department budgets.
  • System/Front Desk Management: Ensuring PMS (Property Management System) updates are maintained, tracking lost and found items, and keeping the lobby/reception area professional. Qandle +10

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous hotel supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Competencies: Proficiency in computer systems (PMS) and basic accounting.
  • Attributes: Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and a professional appearance
