Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Gurugram

Salary: 60,000 - 1 Lakh Per month

We're looking for an experienced technical writer to join our team and help us to take our

customer focused services to new heights. As an ideal candidate, you must have proven

experience in developing training materials, how-to guides, website help sections, videos

and working on global projects.

Position Responsibilities:

• Writes about technical subjects for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Creates scripts for video tutorials.
• Creates and builds out user assistance infrastructure, including how-to sections,

FAQs, and Help sections.

• Updates, edits, and proofreads written materials such as product manuals, user

manuals, how-to guides, and FAQs.

• Works closely with subject matter experts, engineers, developers, and product

marketing team.

• Monitors analytics on usage of online product training materials as well as those

embedded within the product.

• Collects user data to determine areas of documentation that need revision and

updating.

Qualification & Experience:

• University degree with 5-10 years of relevant experience creating customer-facing

help and support documentation for software systems

• Experience in technical writing tools like Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe RoboHelp,

HTML, MS Visio, etc

• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Experience working with engineering to review user experience: design, UI, and help

refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content

• Experience in creating tutorial/help videos
• Work with cross-functional teams and in a global setup

Desired Skills

• Society of Technical Writers certification a plus
• Experienced working in AGILE Development environment
• Knowledge of Software Licensing fundamentals
• Camtasia for videos and training material development
