Job Description: Data Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst for Operations team to analyze operational workflows, derive actionable insights, and support strategic decision‑making. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Power BI, Superset, SQL, Python/R, Advanced Excel, and possess strong analytical and stakeholder‑coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Analytics & Insights

Perform in-depth data analysis to drive operational improvements and business decisions.

Track and analyze operational metrics

Identify trends, patterns, and insights from complex datasets and present concise recommendations.

Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Ad‑hoc performance reports.

What You'll Bring:

Reporting & Dashboarding

• Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI , Superset , and other BI tools.
• Develop robust MIS reports ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Automate recurring reports and optimize data workflows.

Data Management & Wrangling

• Clean, transform, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
• Ensure high data quality, reliability, and integrity.
• Work with relational databases using SQL to extract and manipulate data.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Coordinate with Operations, Product, Technology, and Business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into analytical requirements and provide clear insights.

Communicate findings through visual storytelling and presentations.

• Required Technical Skills

Core Analytics & Programming

• SQL: Querying, extracting, and manipulating data from relational databases.
• Python or R: Data cleaning, transformation, statistical analysis
• Common libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.

Data Visualization

• Hands-on experience in Power BI , Superset .
• Ability to build interactive dashboards and visual reports.

• Experience handling messy, unstructured datasets.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
