We are looking for innovative Mechanical Engineers to join our Aerodynamics team. You will play a key role in designing and optimizing high-performance trailer skirts and fairings while contributing fresh ideas to expand our product portfolio.
What You'll Do
The engineering activities in Research and Development at TRANSTEX are rich and varied. The Aerodynamic Devices Programme requires a senior product development engineer to join the team:
- Design new devices, improvements, cost reduction solutions, and tooling
- Advise the team for sheet metal, plastics, coatings, and systems
- Develop prototypes and test procedures
- Conduct mechanical and aerodynamic simulations and tests
- Author production drawings
- Develop the company’s broad patent portfolio
- Ply your expertise to support junior team members in their professional development
What We're Looking For
All the following assets are required:
- A minimum of 8 years developing products.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent ability.
- Thorough understanding of design for manufacturing.
- Thorough understanding of engineering specifications, automotive materials, and drafting standards.
- At least limited working proficiency in French and in English.
