Customs Compliance Specialist with CBSA Expertise

Join our team as a Customs Compliance Specialist, ensuring adherence to CBSA regulations and trade laws while managing import/export documentation and compliance audits. This role offers a hybrid work model to support your work-life balance. We are looking for an experienced Customs Compliance Specialist with 3-5 years in customs compliance or brokerage.

You will review customs documents, classify goods, and maintain records of transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance. You will also provide guidance on best practices to internal teams while monitoring changes in regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with CBSA regulations and CARM requirements
• Prepare and review customs documentation accurately
• Liaise with customs brokers and government agencies
• Classify goods and determine duties and taxes
• Support internal audits related to customs compliance Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in International Trade or related field
• Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation
• 3-5 years of customs compliance experience
• Strong knowledge of trade agreements like CUSMA
• Fluency in French and proficiency in MS Office Drive compliance excellence in trade operations by utilizing your customs knowledge and regulatory expertise.
