As a Corrections Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining safety and security within our detention facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising inmates and monitoring their activities.
• Providing care and correctional treatment to individuals in custody.
• Managing inmate holding areas and ensuring proper protocols are followed.
• Transporting and escorting inmates securely within designated areas.
• Maintaining institution security and contributing to a safe environment.
• Conducting searches of inmates and visitors to prevent contraband.
• Reviewing mail for prohibited items such as weapons or drugs.
• Preparing detailed incident reports and documentation as required.
• Enforcing facility rules and regulations for inmate conduct and accountability.
• Conducting accurate headcounts to ensure all inmates are accounted for.
• Managing inmates' personal property and issuing receipts for items secured.
• Intervening in physical confrontations to protect the safety of all individuals.
• Providing emergency assistance, including CPR, first aid, and following evacuation procedures.
