Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Security Analyst SOC L1 Bootcamp. The Trainee will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security threats, assisting in application and network security efforts, performing malware analysis, and supporting the team in identifying and responding to security incidents. Day-to-day tasks may include analyzing logs, generating security reports, and assisting in proactive threat hunting activities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cybersecurity, with a strong foundation in identifying and mitigating security risks
• Understanding of Application Security protocols and best practices
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret security incidents and identify patterns
• Knowledge of Network Security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
• Basic understanding of Malware Analysis techniques and tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar are a plus
