Job Summary
We’re looking for an entry‑level Full Stack Engineer to join a small, collaborative development team that builds and supports internal web applications and APIs. These applications help streamline issue‑resolution workflows and integrate with tools used by customer‑facing teams. In this early‑career engineering role, you’ll start by learning the applications through hands‑on code testing and gradually build full‑stack skills across front‑end, back‑end, databases, and AI‑assisted development. You’ll be supported by experienced engineers who will help guide your technical and professional growth.

Core Responsibilities
- Assist with development, testing, and maintenance of web applications and backend services.
- Contribute to front‑end features using frameworks such as Angular.
- Support backend API development using Java and Spring Boot.
- Participate in code testing to understand system behavior and application components.
- Help troubleshoot issues and contribute to enhancements under guidance from senior engineers.
- Work on integrations that support internal ticketing and workflow tools.
- Take part in deployment activities, including occasional overnight release windows.
- Learn and apply best practices for secure coding, version control, and operational processes.
- Explore the use of AI‑assisted development tools to generate, review, and modify code.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent academic experience.
- Foundational knowledge of Java and object‑oriented programming.
- Exposure to Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks through coursework, internships, or projects.
- Basic understanding of front‑end development concepts; experience with Angular or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL fundamentals.
- Interest in AI/ML concepts and willingness to explore AI‑assisted development tools.
- Ability to learn full‑stack development across front‑end, back‑end, and database layers.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Preference for applicants who also have:
- Experience using version control tools such as Git.
- Exposure to web service development or API design.
- Interest in automation, scripting, or cloud concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
