QA Inspector – Maintenance

Esterhazy, Saskatchewan

Our client is a leading industrial and mining organization, focused on safe and efficient operations across its facilities. The QA Inspector role is an exciting opportunity to work closely with maintenance teams, ensuring that work orders are executed correctly, safely, and in compliance with industry and organizational standards. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Review Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) documents and work procedures prepared by contractors, ensuring potential hazards are identified and controlled
  • Perform field audits to validate that work orders and job plans are executed according to standards and site conditions
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal guidelines, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards
  • Provide immediate feedback to maintenance teams during field work using photo documentation and digital tools
  • Monitor installations and equipment testing, verifying performance, safety features, and adherence to specifications before sign-off
  • Assist in evaluating completed work, reporting deviations, and supporting closure of work orders
  • Collaborate with teams to update job plans, procedures, and JHAs to prevent recurrence of issues and improve future maintenance activities

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Your strong attention to detail ensures that maintenance work is completed safely and correctly
  • Use your communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with maintenance technicians, contractors, and project teams
  • Hands-on experience in QA/QC, inspections, or maintenance in industrial or mining environments
  • A proactive approach to safety and compliance, with working knowledge of EHS standards
  • Ability to provide clear, real-time feedback and document findings efficiently
  • Comfortable working in the field, witnessing installations, repairs, and testing activities
  • Technical training or industry experience is an asset
