Job Description
Our client is looking for a driven Backend Developer to join their engineering team. In this role, you’ll help build and enhance backend systems that support critical revenue workflows for large, complex organizations. You’ll work on a mature, large-scale product with real customers, contributing to meaningful improvements while learning from and collaborating with experienced team members. Curiosity, ownership, and a collaborative mindset are key.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the core sync platform.
- Deliver reliable, well-tested code while improving existing systems.
- Address challenges related to performance, scalability, and data consistency.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and customer-facing teams to solve real-world problems.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and modernization initiatives, including platform upgrades and architectural improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4+ years of backend development experience with C#/.NET.
- Strong foundation in system design, object-oriented programming, and working with data-intensive systems.
- Hands-on experience debugging and operating production systems.
- Comfortable with APIs, databases, and distributed services.
- Effective communicator capable of explaining technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
