FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

COMMUNITY CENTER OPERATIONS - The Town of Herndon boasts a unique balance of strong sense of community and being a next generation small town and each employee is pivotal in providing exceptional services to our citizens. The Town has an immediate need for a Personal Trainer in the Parks & Recreation department.

Duties and Responsibilites:

• Leading high-quality, high -energy group fitness classes.
• Setting up prior to class start time and ensuring proper clean up after class completion.
• Being prepared for class and leading class in a professional and safe manner.

Requirements

• Current AED/CPR certification preferred.
• Instructor certification preferred.
• One (1) year experience leading group fitness classes is preferred.

Hours: By appointment as needed on days, evenings, and Saturdays

Work Location:

814 Ferndale Ave, Herndon, VA 20170; Herndon Community Center

Due to the nature of a government providing services to the public all duties of this position are required to be fulfilled at the designated worksite in the town. No remote work is available.
