Job Description

Responsible for managing activities related to inventory control and developing solutions to improve inventory performance metrics across the entire branch network. Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Compensation: $53,125 dash; $66,407 The base salary listed is only one component of our total compensation program. Discretionary or performance-based bonuses may also be awarded. Implement inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes inventory while maximizing inventory performance across the branch network Monitor and report (daily/monthly) branch performance metrics to drive continuous improvement As a Parts Inventory Analyst, YOU will have the opportunity to: Work for one of the safest companies in the industry, where your safety and well-being are our top priority Work for a best-in-class equipment dealership with the premier Caterpillar brand Continuously learn, grow, and develop with the Toromont team through our internal training programs focused on your success Receive a competitive total compensation package, including salary, benefits, and bonuses (where eligible) Have access to flexible work schedules and opportunities to work at various locations across Eastern Canada In a typical workday, YOU will perform the following duties: Monitor and ensure compliance with company parts policies, review parts levels for changes in direction, and provide data to branches to support better business decisions (including processing branch stock cancellation requests for CAT parts) Monitor and adjust DBS system parameters in alignment with the business environment Review existing reports and tools to identify opportunities for improvement (cycle counting, stock receiving, outstanding documentation) Communicate with branches and leadership to resolve outstanding issues and recommend appropriate procedural solutions Provide support for Caterpillar Parts Inventory Control (PIC) ordering routines and CAT excess returns Update, monitor, and review consignment inventory accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness through manual inventory counts and resolution of discrepancies Analyze and process buyback requests, working with branches to ensure parts are received and customers receive the correct credit amount Required Skills and Qualifications: College diploma in Business Administration or Office Administration, combined with 3 dash;5 years of experience, preferably in a parts sales or distribution environment What We Offer: Our unique and competitive compensation program is designed around our company values to attract top talentmdash;and keep them long-term!
