Senior Installation Technician

TORMAX Canada Inc. subsidiary is a local leader in the sales and services of pedestrian automatic doors and commercial entrance systems. Our Canadian Head Office based in Langley, British Columbia, manufactures, installs, and services automatic and manual doors, and we have an immediate opening for a Service/Install Technician to be based in the Greater Ottawa market.

Job Responsibilities:

-Installing and servicing product/parts while professionally interacting with customers and project managers.

· Manage assigned parts and consumable van inventory effectively.

· Communicate with management promptly regarding customer complaints or customer needs

· Must be willing to work the hours required to complete critical field repairs involving life safety or high pedestrian traffic entrances.

· Must be willing to work a rotating emergency service callout schedule

Job Requirements:

· Current driver’s license and PPE set

· Strong diagnostic capabilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Advanced hand/power tools experience with electrical troubleshooting knowledge

· (2) years +/or proven experience of automatic door/ architectural hardware installation & field service

• While not mandatory, preference will be given to applicants with bilingual English/French or a current CCQ certification in either Erector Mechanic (Glazier) or Electrician (specializing in security systems)

Compensation

· A wage package competitive with the candidate’s skills and experiences is available

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
