As a Senior Systems Test Engineer – Vehicle Testing, you will play a critical role in validating the safety and performance of our autonomous driving system at the vehicle level. You will define and execute test strategies that support safety case development, ensuring our system meets both functional safety (ISO 26262) and behavioral safety (SOTIF) requirements. Your work will directly influence how we validate autonomy across real-world driving conditions, from closed-course testing to on-road deployments. This role is highly cross-functional, partnering with systems engineering, perception, planning, and safety teams to ensure robust system integration and safe operation across diverse environments. What You’ll Do <ul data-start="1003" data-end="2153"> <li data-section-id="1u6j4u9" data-start="1003" data-end="1101">Define and own vehicle-level test strategy aligned to safety goals and system requirements</li> <li data-section-id="1l2n8qe" data-start="1102" data-end="1202">Develop and maintain detailed test cases and specifications for autonomous driving functions</li> <li data-section-id="1s83715" data-start="1203" data-end="1301">Derive test coverage from requirements, HARA/FMEA outputs, ASIL levels, and SOTIF analyses</li> <li data-section-id="1td2r6p" data-start="1302" data-end="1399">Design and execute structured test scenarios across perception, planning, and control systems</li> <li data-section-id="iec2iz" data-start="1400" data-end="1489">Lead closed-course and on-road vehicle testing across a variety of ODD conditions</li> <li data-section-id="1l8zeux" data-start="1490" data-end="1610">Develop and implement post-processing scripts (Python/MATLAB) to assess pass/fail criteria and automate analysis</li> <li data-section-id="1vcse01" data-start="1611" data-end="1713">Investigate, triage, and document system-level defects and anomalies identified during testing</li> <li data-section-id="2ckd5x" data-start="1714" data-end="1802">Drive cross-functional collaboration to propose and implement corrective actions</li> <li data-section-id="j31y8a" data-start="1803" data-end="1912">Own contributions to safety case closure, including traceability, test evidence, and defect reporting</li> <li data-section-id="1aeso9f" data-start="1913" data-end="2039">Produce clear and comprehensive technical reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and regulatory audiences</li> <li data-section-id="14lbedk" data-start="2040" data-end="2153">Ensure all testing activities align with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company protocols</li> </ul> <h4 data-section-id="1e1aehx" data-start="2160" data-end="2193">What You’ll Need to Succeed</h4> <ul data-start="2195" data-end="3356"> <li data-section-id="1iks07i" data-start="2195" data-end="2325">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Robotics, Automotive Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)</li> <li data-section-id="1rfj1s9" data-start="2326" data-end="2430">5+ years of experience in autonomous vehicles, ADAS, robotics, or safety-critical system testing</li> <li data-section-id="jobvuf" data-start="2431" data-end="2621">Strong experience developing test cases from: <ul data-start="2481" data-end="2621"> <li data-section-id="1tb0ztt" data-start="2481" data-end="2504">System requirements</li> <li data-section-id="1rkkkfv" data-start="2507" data-end="2548">Safety goals and ASIL classifications</li> <li data-section-id="1qy8ri3" data-start="2551" data-end="2621">Scenario-based safety analyses (ODDs, edge cases, SOTIF scenarios)</li> </ul> </li> <li data-section-id="1tfh3fr" data-start="2622" data-end="2715">Practical knowledge of: <ul data-start="2650" data-end="2715"> <li data-section-id="12wnke5" data-start="2650" data-end="2687">ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)</li> <li
