Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Merchandiser and Inventory Controller based in Chennai. The role includes managing inventory levels, analyzing stock performance, and ensuring product availability.

Key responsibilities involve coordinating with vendors and suppliers, monitoring stock trends, implementing merchandising strategies, and providing actionable insights to optimize sales. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate inventory records, auditing stock, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, stock control, and demand forecasting
• Strong skills in analytics, data interpretation, and performance analysis
• Proficiency in merchandising, market trend analysis, and vendor coordination
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and robust knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving attributes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in retail, fashion, or accessories industry will be an added advantage
