Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sr. System Administrator with expertise in Windows/Linux administration, networking, virtualization, and IT infrastructure management to maintain, monitor, and optimize our IT environment. You will work on configuring, securing, and supporting servers and endpoints, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability and performance of systems.
• Administer and support Office 365, including user management, email security, and collaboration

tools.

• Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD), including user access, group policies, and permissions. Design, deploy, and manage cloud resources on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement device management and endpoint security using Microsoft Intune (preferred).
• Monitor servers, networks, and cloud environments to ensure security and performance.
• Handle system upgrades, patching, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, access, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align IT infrastructure with business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
• Provide guidance and support to junior IT support engineers or team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in System Administration / IT Infrastructure management.
• Strong expertise in Office 365 administration (user management, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
• Strong experience with Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V).
• Hands-on experience with system monitoring, patch management, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewall, LAN/WAN).
• Ability to automate routine tasks using PowerShell or Bash scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills in production environments.
• Experience working with cloud-based and hybrid IT environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex IT infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, and security best practices in Microsoft Azure

environments.

• Experience with device management and endpoint security using Microsoft Intune.
• Exposure to identity and access management, including SSO and conditional access with Office 365

and Azure AD.

• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell/Bash) for routine IT operations.
• Understanding of ISO standards and their application in the workplace (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO

27701).
