Here, you will take complete end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire frontend stack. You'll be joining a rapidly growing team working at the forefront of new technology, solving the challenges that impact the company’s products, and ultimately, delivering amazing user experiences.
What You'll Do
- Frontend Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, performant web interfaces using React.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
- Design Implementation:
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, accessible UI components that meet WCAG standards.
- API Integration:
- Partner with backend engineers to define and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Performance Optimization:
- Profile and improve bundle size, render time, and Core Web Vitals across the application.
- Code Quality:
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, Playwright, and Cypress; conduct code reviews.
- Design System:
- Contribute to a shared component library and design system used across the product.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in frontend web development (3+ years).
- Core Frontend:
- Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals.
- Solid grasp of HTML5 semantics, CSS layout, and responsive design.
- Deep understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and browser APIs.
- Tooling:
- Comfort with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, or similar).
- Familiarity with state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, React Query).
- Testing:
- Hands-on experience writing tests with Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Version Control:
- Proficient with Git for code management and collaboration.
- Other:
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria (Jira experience preferred).
- Bonus:
- Experience with Next.js or another SSR framework.
- Background in design systems or component library work.
- Familiarity with motion and animation libraries.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of web performance optimization is advantageous.
- Understanding of security practices in frontend development.
