About the role
As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will provide strategic communications and marketing support for the development of consistent messages and effective communication with all relevant stakeholders and audiences, through multiple channels. You will be responsible to increase awareness, alignment and higher talent retention through org-aligned, high-impact communications and campaigns. This role will focus on designing, developing and delivering a cohesive employee experience that reflects Tiger’s vision, values and culture.
Responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in the Internal Communications team, working directly with the Brand & Comms team, relevant leaders, HR, Creative team and collaborate with multiple functions. The role will evolve as the company grows and explores new avenues of growth. Below are key aspects of the role as we see in the near future.
- Lead and develop communications to support internal communication, organisation changes, team events, etc based on current and relevant org themes and talent objectives
- Ideate and explore creative and innovative approaches to engage and/or target internal audiences
- Work closely with various teams/practices/functions to execute end to end internal communication assignments and campaigns
- Provide end-to-end support on Tiger news site maintenance and updates - from content mining, curation, news edits/creation, mock publish and Go Live.
- Develop and author a variety of internal communication material including internal news to employees, HR campaigns, announcements, newsletters, digital assets and events.
- Manage and optimize internal communications channels and identify new and creative ways to educate and engage employees.
- Maintain and implement the IC comms calendar (newsletters, intranet etc), research and develop quotes / testimonials from people, write stories, shoot videos, and manage key IC campaigns.
- Design, track, and report internal metrics and results of initiatives to demonstrate impact to our communications efforts
Skills, Competencies & Experience:
- 6+ years of experience and a track record of developing diverse, creative, and proactive internal communications programming and experiences
- MBA (HR, Communications) or a Bachelor's degree (English, journalism, communications or marketing) preferred
- Strong writing, copy-editing skills, and corporate communications etiquette
- Proven success in developing and executing internal communications within a large business, preferably in Analytics/Technology/Management consulting industries
- Strong organizational skills and project management skills – with the ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple projects/priorities with quick turn-around times.
- Experience using various communication tools for intranet editing (Wordpress, GoogleSites), metrics tracking (Google Analytics, email tracking software), and graphics creation (PowerPoint /Photoshop /Canva).
- Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while possessing a high level of comfort with ambiguity.
Compensation and title will be commensurate with the experience and skill level.
