Solutions Engineer

I'm currently representing a privately held data center developer managing a multi-billion dollar asset portfolio. They are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead the technical interface between mission-critical design and large-scale enterprise acquisitions.

Key Focus Areas

• Work Remote.
• Support high-value infrastructure opportunities by designing technical solutions tailored to hyperscale and large enterprise requirements.
• Drive the RFP and RFI process to ensure engineering specifications are both accurate and competitively positioned.
• Partner with construction and procurement teams to track equipment delivery and verify that site builds meet contractual milestones.
• Maintain facility capacity data and develop technical materials to support executive-level sales presentations.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in technical solution design within the data center or mission-critical sector.
• Candidate preferably located in DC area - other hot geographies may be acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science-related field; relevant military technical experience is also highly valued.
• Solid grasp of MEP systems, data center architecture, and project implementation workflows.
• Experience with CRM platforms and design software like AutoCAD, Visio, or Bluebeam is a plus.
• Flexibility for moderate travel to various project sites and vendor facilities.
