Cost Accountant/MIS Executive Textile Industry (India)

Job Description

We are hiring an MIS Executive / Cost Accountant for our garment manufacturing business. The role involves tracking end-to-end production data and preparing detailed cost analysis reports to improve efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain MIS reports in Excel for complete production flow
• Capture data across stages: fabric, cutting, stitching, finishing, packing
• Track and record costs (material, labor, overheads) at each stage
• Perform variance analysis (planned vs actual)
• Identify cost leakages and improvement areas
• Coordinate with production, merchandising, and accounts teams
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management

Key Skills:

• Strong Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic dashboards)
• Understanding of garment production & costing
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail

Qualification:

B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA / Costing background preferred

Experience in textile/garment industry is a must

Job Types: Full time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹172,513.94 - ₹533,864.88 per year
