The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Art Director to join our creative team at a pivotal stage of their career. This is a role for someone who is ready to move beyond execution and start thinking like a creative, someone who wants to help shape ideas from the ground up and brings a strong vision to how we elevate our ideas in a ever-changing market.
You’ll work in close partnership with a copywriter, functioning as a creative duo to concept and execute campaigns under the direction of our senior creative team. Day-to-day, you’ll be ideating campaign concepts, developing storyboards, supporting small-scale productions and presenting work to internal teams and clients alike. You’ll be guided by our ACDs and supported by our senior creative team, but you’ll be expected to show up with ideas, energy and a strong point of view.
What You’ll Do
Campaign Concepting
- Ideate and develop campaign concepts across a range of clients, formats and briefs.
- Work as a creative duo with a copywriter to build out integrated campaign ideas from brief to execution.
- Contribute to brainstorms and concept sessions with fresh thinking and a distinct visual perspective.
- Develop mood boards, reference decks and early visual explorations to bring ideas to life.
Storyboarding & Visual Storytelling
- Create storyboards and visual frames for video, social and motion content.
- Translate campaign concepts into clear sequential narratives that communicate tone, pacing and visual direction.
- Work alongside motion and video teams to ensure your boards are production-ready and reflective of channel constraints
Production & Shoots
- Support and help coordinate small-scale photo and video shoots, from pre-production prep to on-set art direction.
- Assist with prop selection, wardrobe direction, talent briefing and set styling as needed.
- Ensure the visual output of shoots aligns with the approved creative direction.
- Be available to travel to locations where needed
Creative Execution
- Execute senior creative concepts across print, digital, social and OOH formats with care and craft.
- Produce campaign assets that are on-brand, on-brief and production-ready.
- Incorporate feedback from the ACD and senior creatives to continuously improve the work.
Client Presentations
- Actively participate in pitches and client presentations, presenting and speaking to your work with confidence.
- Help prepare presentation decks that are well-crafted, clear and compelling.
- Respond to client feedback constructively and bring revised thinking back to the table.
Collaboration
- Work closely with your copywriter partner throughout the full creative process — from first brief to final delivery.
- Collaborate with strategists, producers, designers and media teams to ensure creative is aligned and achievable.
- Participate in internal reviews and contribute your perspective openly and constructively.
What You Bring
Experience & Portfolio
- 2–4 years of experience in an agency or creative environment (internships and co-op placements count).
- A portfolio that shows strong conceptual thinking alongside craft — we want to see your ideas, not just polished executions.
- Examples of campaign work, storyboards or any projects that demonstrate how you think visually and narratively.
Technical Skills
- Comfortable working in Figma & Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Ability to create clear, communicative storyboards and visual frames.
- Basic understanding of production processes for photo, video or social content is a plus.
Working Style
- A natural collaborator who works well as part of a creative duo.
- Confident presenting and articulating ideas to both internal teams and clients.
- Open to feedback and genuinely motivated to grow.
- Enthusiastic about the industry and motivated to make a real impact from day one.
- Curious, detail-oriented and excited by a variety of briefs and creative challenges.
- Able to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities without losing quality.
Nice to Have
- Experience on set during photo or video productions.
- Exposure to motion, animation or video content creation.
- Interest in emerging creative tools and formats.
What We Offer
- 15 days of vacation annually (pro-rated).
- Competitive compensation.
- Hybrid work model (3 mandatory in-office days/week).
- Extra paid stat holidays.
- Bike-to-work incentive program.
- A supportive environment where creatives can grow and lead.
