Job Description: Job Description: Contribute to top-notch functional, technical and user interface designs. Participate in complex applications and systems development, project planning, estimates, programming and status update ensuring project deliverables are on time, within budget, and adhere to the corporate quality and security standards. Participate in peer to peer code reviews to address quality, standards compliance, reusability and ease of maintenance. Identify issue, develop, maintain processes and address any issue that affects the integrity of the application (e.g. cross-capability/release issues). Make enhancements and troubleshoot. Configure and develop custom components with technology partners (analysts, developers, designers etc.) to meet requirements and goals. Ensure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities (and follow standard security practices). Proactively put forward ideas that speak to project objectives (e.g. development, testing solutions, and tools). Complete unit and integration testing per standards and design specs. Respect TD's technology delivery practices and standards, project management disciplines. Stay on top of state-of-health monitoring and monthly SLA targets. Participate in sharing technical knowledge during incident management life cycle (e.g. analyzes reports and outages, perform impact assessments, facilitate stakeholder communication). Oncall rotation may be required. Job Requirements: Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate. 2+ years of relevant mainframe application development and Support experience (Financial Industry Preferred) Working experience mainframe skills with the following: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, TSO, ISPF, IMS DC/DB and or DB2 Job scheduling tools: CA-7, Autosys, AWF Source Control (any of): Endevor, SCM, Changeman, GIT Mainframe utilities: IDz, ZDT, ADDI, PD tool, IMS Explorer for Development Agile experience General knowledge of MQ ITSM tools: Jira, Confluence and Service Now ITIL Framework - Incident, Change and Problem Management process Nice to have: SAS, API, MS Azure Cloud Computing, Running Docker containers, file transfer eg: TIBCO or NDM Extensive knowledge of the business, technical environment, standards, processes, procedures, programming languages and operating systems. Working knowledge and experience in the SDLC methodologies Ability to code, debug, research, analyze and problem-solve development and system issues Highly organized and self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as within a team and with internal business and technology partners at all levels of the organization Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
