Our client is seeking a Secret‑cleared Java Full Stack Developer to help modernize one of the federal government’s most mission‑critical investigative systems. This fully remote role puts you on the front lines of large‑scale transformation—migrating legacy applications to a secure, cloud‑native platform, advancing DevSecOps and Zero Trust architectures, and shaping the future of a nationwide personnel‑vetting ecosystem. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE. Top Secret Clearance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and support secure, high‑quality applications using Java and other modern technologies
- Develop application solutions backed by Oracle databases
- Design and deploy container‑based services in an agile development environment
- Utilize DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
- Deliver full‑stack functionality across front‑end and back‑end components
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues throughout the application lifecycle
- Partner with cross‑functional team members to produce scalable and reliable solutions
- Apply strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills to team efforts
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software application development within a fast‑paced Agile/Scrum environment
- Proven experience developing applications using Java and other modern programming languages
- Hands‑on experience with application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies)
- Demonstrated ability to work within a DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline for application build, test, and deployment
- Experience developing and supporting Java‑based applications integrated with Oracle databases
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a cross‑functional software development team
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Required Security Certification: Security+ (Sec+), CCNA, CySA, or CND
