We are currently in a modernization phase across several of our platforms, with a focus on improving usability, streamlining workflows and introducing more consistent design patterns across our applications.

The Role

We are seeking an Intermediate UX Designer who enjoys solving complex workflow and usability challenges within enterprise or SaaS applications.

You will collaborate closely with Product Management and Development teams to design clear, efficient user experiences for operational software used by internal teams and field personnel.

This role focuses on workflow design, role-based systems, dashboards, and usability improvements across mobile and web applications.

Initial Projects

• Design the unified experience for multiple role-based mobile applications
• Define role-driven navigation and access patterns
• Simplify complex operational workflows for mobile environments
• Ensure consistency within existing mobile UI standards

Web Application Modernization

• Review and improve legacy workflows
• Redesign screens for clarity, efficiency, and usability
• Simplify multi-step operational processes
• Support modernization of the application interface during platform upgrades

Dashboard & Data Visualization

• Design dashboards that surface meaningful operational metrics
• Define KPI hierarchy and visual prioritization
• Structure filtering, drill-down, and reporting interactions

Design System Development

• Help establish reusable UI components and patterns
• Support the creation of a scalable design system for mobile and web applications
• Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are practical to implement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with developers throughout implementation
• Provide clear documentation of interaction states and behaviors
• Participate in sprint planning and backlog refinement
• Iterate designs based on stakeholder and user feedback

Qualifications

Required

• 3–5 years of UX design experience
• Experience designing SaaS, enterprise software, or internal business applications
• Experience designing workflow-driven interfaces and operational tools
• Experience with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Experience designing data-heavy interfaces such as dashboards, tables, and forms
• Experience collaborating closely with development teams

Preferred

• Experience designing role-based or permissions-driven systems
• Experience modernizing legacy applications
• Familiarity with Agile development environments
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience designing mobile-first or cross-platform applications

The focus is on designing structured workflows, operational tools, and data-driven interfaces used by internal teams and field personnel.

Compensation & Growth

Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000 CAD, based on experience and demonstrated capability.

This role offers growth potential into a Senior or Lead UX role as our product suite evolves.
