Environmental Litigation Associate
Location: Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage federal environmental litigation and enforcement matters, both civil and criminal.
- Analyse complex regulatory schemes and advise on compliance, liability, and enforcement risks.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda with clarity and precision.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on strategic decision-making and case management.
- Engage directly with clients and government agencies on regulatory and enforcement issues.
Who You Are
- Class years 2015–2021 (with flexibility for 2018–2022) from a leading law firm or government agency.
- Experience in environmental or regulatory litigation; DOJ or federal agency enforcement experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and research abilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of environmental and administrative law principles.
- Self-starter capable of managing matters with minimal supervision.
Compensation
Salary Range: $260,000 – $470,000 DOE
