This role will be responsible for supporting the verification and closure of Inspections, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria (ITAAC) to ensure that nuclear facility construction and modifications comply with all applicable regulatory requirements and design specifications.</p> <p>The ITAAC Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the successful transition of new or modified nuclear facilities from construction to operation. This position will involve interpreting ITAAC requirements, collecting and organizing evidence, preparing ITAAC closure documentation, and interacting with regulatory agencies to demonstrate compliance with the Combined Operating License (COL).</p> <p><strong><span class="EOP SCXW174644119 BCX0" data-ccp-props="{&quot;134245417&quot;:false,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}">Responsibilities</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>ITAAC Verification &amp; Documentation: <ul> <li>Interpret and understand specific ITAAC requirements as defined in the Combined Operating License (COL) and associated design documents.</li> <li>Gather, review, and organize objective evidence (e.g., test reports, inspection records, analysis reports, design documents, construction specifications) to demonstrate completion of ITAAC.</li> <li>Prepare and support the development of ITAAC Closure Notifications (ICNs) and other related documentation for submission to the NRC.</li> <li>Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and technical adequacy of all ITAAC verification packages.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Regulatory Interpretation &amp; Application: <ul> <li>Interpret and apply federal regulations, regulatory guides, and industry standards related to ITAAC and nuclear facility commissioning.</li> <li>Assess the impact of design changes, construction deviations, or test results on the fulfillment of ITAAC.</li> <li>Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on ITAAC requirements and verification processes.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Regulatory Agency Interaction Support: <ul> <li>Support the preparation of responses to NRC inquiries and requests for additional information related to ITAAC closure.</li> <li>Participate in meetings and teleconferences with regulatory agencies (e.g., NRC) during ITAAC audits and inspections.</li> <li>Assist with regulatory inspections focused on ITAAC verification.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Compliance Assurance &amp; Tracking: <ul> <li>Support the implementation of processes and procedures to ensure robust ITAAC verification and compliance.</li> <li>Assist in tracking and managing the status of open ITAAC and associated action items.</li> <li>Contribute to internal audits and assessments related to ITAAC and commissioning readiness.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Technical Integration &amp;
