We're building something from the ground up — and you'd be at the centre of it.

A major financial institution is standing up a dedicated securitization technology team in Montreal, with a mandate to bring data and analytics capabilities fully in-house over the next two years. This isn't a backfill — it's a greenfield build, and you'll have architectural ownership from day one.

💡 What You'll Do

You'll architect the data backbone of a securitization platform — designing scalable SQL Server environments, building high-performance ETL pipelines, and enabling real-time analytics that power deal execution.

You'll work closely with a small, high-calibre team, act as the technical anchor for Montreal, and coordinate with leadership across North America. As the business scales, you scale with it.

This is the kind of role where your decisions matter — where you're not just maintaining systems, you're defining them.

🎯 What We're Looking For

Must-Have:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and relational database development
• Deep expertise in database design, normalization, indexing, and performance tuning
• Proven experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data warehousing solutions
• Strong analytical and data modelling skills — you think in data structures
• Familiarity with financial data models (time-series data, risk attributes)
• Foundational knowledge of cloud database environments (Azure or AWS)

Nice-to-Have:

• Hands-on experience with NoSQL (Elasticsearch) or in-memory computing (MemSQL/SingleStore, Redis)
• SQL Server or cloud data platform certifications
