Senior accountant - 3 to 6 month

Our client is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant for a 3–6-month contract to support their finance team in a fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in high-volume, multi-channel businesses and wants exposure to systems, automation, and process improvements.

Responsible for: Leading month-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Supporting daily accounting operations, AP, and cash management Contributing to cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis Maintaining and improving the General Ledger and chart of accounts Driving process improvements, automation, and workflow optimization Supporting system integrations across Microsoft Dynamics, POS, and e-commerce platforms Partnering cross-functionally with FP& A, IT, and operations Must Have: 5+ years of Canadian experience in retail or e-commerce accounting Advanced Excel skills Strong month-end close and inventory accounting experience Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics CPA (completed or in progress) Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel and systems skills Experience with process mapping, automation, and integrations Additional Information: TMGCT The Mason Group is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and accessible recruitment process.
