Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at our Upper Marlboro, or Bowie MD location. The primary responsibilities include diagnosing and performing oral surgeries such as dental implants for single and full arch cases, wisdom teeth, removal, pathology, and biopsies and administration and anesthesia. The role also involves administering appropriate anesthetics, collaborating with referring dentists or physicians, and ensuring high-quality, personalized patient care. The surgeon will maintain meticulous patient records and contribute to ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Oral Surgery procedures, including dental implants / full arch implants , wisdom teeth removal, pathology, sinus augmentation , and anesthesia
- Strong expertise in Medicine and Dentistry to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Experience and training in Anesthesiology to safely administer and monitor anesthesia
- Skilled in planning and placing Dental Implants with precision
- Board certification or eligibility in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team collaboration
- Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on the latest techniques and advancements
- Licensure to practice dentistry and oral surgery in the state of Maryland ( will assist with obtaining licensure )
