. We are looking for a 'Digital Journalist, Politics' to join our newsroom. If you closely follow political developments, track breaking and trending news, and can explain complex political issues with clarity and context across formats, this role might be for you.

As a Digital Journalist, Politics, you will report on political developments, governance decisions, and policy updates, turning them into accurate, insightful, and accessible content for both web and social media audiences.

🔶 You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of a story

• From research and verification to writing, self-editing, creative execution, and distribution.
• You will write articles as well as create social-first formats such as carousels, videos, ensuring content is optimised for each platform.

📍 Role: Digital Journalist, Politics

📍 Location: Noida (5 days in-office, 1 remote, 1 weekly off)

🎯 What we are looking for:

• Strong understanding of Indian politics, governance, and current affairs
• Ability to simplify complex issues into clear, engaging content
• Sharp news judgment and ability to track trends and developments
• Experience in both web writing and social media content creation
• Ability to work fast while maintaining accuracy and accountability
• Ability to independently execute and self-edit content end-to-end

🎓 Educational Background:

• Backgrounds in Political Science, Public Policy, or related fields are preferred
• Journalism degree (not mandatory)
• Candidates with strong political awareness and proven content work are encouraged to apply

🧠 Experience:

1–2 years in journalism, print media, digital media, or relevant content roles

Experience covering politics, governance, or public policy is preferred

Journalists from print media looking to transition into digital are strongly encouraged to apply
