Job Description

Bloom Finance Company LTD is reimagining retirement for Canadians aged 55+, empowering homeowners to access the wealth they’ve built and turn it into financial flexibility, security, and choice—without giving up ownership or peace of mind. As a Canadian fintech, Bloom Finance Company enables clients to unlock up to 55% of their home’s value as tax-free cash through its reverse mortgage solution, combining transparency, education, and a customer-first approach to retirement financing.

Highlights

  • Headquarters: Toronto, Ontario
  • Providing reverse mortgage solution enabling access to up to 55% of home value (tax-free)
  • Banks are generalists — Bloom is the specialist for home-equity release, purpose-built for seniors - marketed towards Canadian homeowners aged 55+
  • Rising rates + fixed retirement income are making reverse mortgages a necessity, not a nice-to-have.
  • In a volatile mortgage market, Bloom offers real demand, structure, and long-term upside.
  • $400M in home equity extended to Canadian homeowners
  • Funding: Successfully raised a $7M Series A led by SixThirty Ventures LLC.
  • Award-winning leadership coming from high-growth companies including TouchBistro, BoxHub

About the Role

Bloom Finance Company is hiring a Broker Account Executive to own and grow a portfolio of mortgage broker relationships — while staying directly involved in the deal lifecycle from introduction through to funding.

  • At a high level, you’ll build and manage a network of mortgage brokers across your territory, acting as their go-to partner for reverse mortgages — while also stepping into deals to help move them across the finish line.
  • Managing a pipeline of approximately 20 deals per month
  • Educating prospective clients and brokers on reverse mortgages and Bloom’s products and process
  • Taking full mortgage applications and guiding clients through underwriting, appraisal, and funding
  • Owning the client relationship end-to-end, from first call to closing
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with mortgage brokers in your market
  • Partner with brokers to structure deals and position solutions effectively
  • Work closely with underwriting and operations to progress deals through to funding
  • Stay actively involved in the deal lifecycle — not just sourcing, but closing
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to quarterback deals and drive outcomes

About You

You are a consultative sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and takes pride in helping clients make informed financial decisions.

  • 2–5 years of experience in mortgages, financial services, or a related field

  • Experience working with mortgage brokers or within the broker channel
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to simplify complex products
  • Comfortable engaging directly with clients and brokers in a joint sales process
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deals at various stages
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally (e.g. underwriting, operations)
  • Bonus: underwriting or deal structuring experience
  • Must be located in BC
