Junior Associate Attorney

We are a boutique law firm based in Bethesda, Maryland, focused on delivering thoughtful, sophisticated estate planning counsel to individuals and families. We are seeking a Junior Associate Attorney who is genuinely interested in estate planning and committed to providing an exceptional level of client service.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment where precision, discretion, and professionalism are paramount.

About the Role

The Junior Associate will play an integral role in supporting the firm’s estate planning practice. This includes assisting in the design and preparation of comprehensive estate plans, participating in client meetings, and contributing meaningfully to the overall client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and powers of attorney
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex estate planning matters
• Participate in client consultations and strategy discussions
• Support the implementation and execution of estate plans
• Maintain meticulous and organized client records

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the Maryland Bar is required
• Admission to the District of Columbia and/or Virginia Bar is a plus
• Demonstrated interest in estate planning
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability
• Professional demeanor and commitment to client confidentiality
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, in-person office setting

Compensation

• Starting salary: $80,000

Location

• Full-time, in-person role in Bethesda, Maryland
