Job Description

Responsibilities Directs, coordinate, and synchronize management of the following functions: Inbound receiving of purchase orders: Maintain the receiving schedule Ensure proper use of automated tools (ReceiveRight, etc) Update of IDS inventory Daily cycle counts, review of out of stocks, inventory discrepancy reports Inventory transfers between buildings Review of item movement for re-slotting to optimize picking and re-stocking Warehouse upkeep (housekeeping) and product rotation Personnel management of day warehouse employees, including: New hire orientation and training Performance evaluations Disciplinary actions and write-ups Terminations Strives to eliminate overtime Strives to eliminate loss of product due to: Product expiration due to no-rotation Strives to ensure maximum fill rate by ensuring fully restocked pick slots Develops and enforces policy and procedures Communicate problems, issues, and concerns to Day Operations Manager Requirements Personnel management skills/supervisory skills Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, etc) Basic First Aid skills, including CPR Forklift certification Basic mechanical skills Communication skills
