Social Media, Content & Brand Marketing Specialist
What You'll Do
As our Social Media, Content & Brand Marketing Specialist, you’ll lead how our brand expresses itself across social and digital platforms.
You’ll transform campaign ideas into content people actually want to watch, share, and engage with, bringing together storytelling, creative execution, and cultural awareness.
Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager, you’ll collaborate across Marketing, Digital, Creative, and Brand partners to turn strategy into experiences that feel cohesive, premium, and unmistakably Sporting Life.
Bring the Brand to Life
- Translate brand strategy into social-first storytelling
- Help shape and execute seasonal brand campaigns across channels
- Maintain a consistent tone, aesthetic, and creative point of view
- Extend campaigns beyond social through blog and owned content
- Help ensure every touchpoint feels intentional and elevated
Lead Social & Content Creation
- Own Sporting Life’s social presence and content strategy
- Plan and manage the content calendar with a strong instinct for cultural moments
- Concept, shoot, edit, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Create short‑form video, photography, graphics, and copy that feels native to each platform
- Balance speed, creativity, and brand polish
Build Community & Influence
- Develop relationships with creators, influencers, and brand partners
- Co‑create authentic content aligned with our premium positioning
- Engage directly with our community in a voice that feels confident, human, and real
- Help grow a brand people want to interact with, not just follow
Create Impact Through Insight
- Own social performance metrics: engagement, growth, reach, and share of voice
- Partner with Digital teams to connect organic storytelling with paid performance
- Use insights and analytics to evolve creative direction and strategy
What You'll Bring
- Have 3–5+ years in social media, content creation, either in‑house or through a personal channel
- You have hands on experience working in corporate experience, understanding how to navigate bridging creative & strategy to the business needs
- Are hands‑on with production (shooting, editing, ideating, publishing) within Meta, TikTok, Canva, Photoshop, CapCut and Adobe, and within programs like Sprout Social and Later for performance analytics and scheduling
- Understand platform culture, algorithms, and audience behaviour
- Think visually and tell stories naturally
- Care about performance as much as creativity
- Have a genuine passion for sport, style, and premium retail brands
