Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate, loving, and dedicated Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our team at a private school. As a Pre-K Teacher, you will play a vital role in educating and nurturing young children, providing them with a solid foundation for their future education.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum and hands-on activities to promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of pre-K aged children.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning.
• Utilize effective positive classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment.

-Update Brightwheel throughout the day with photos, videos, and individual student learning.

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for students.
• Assess student progress through observation, assessment tools, and regular evaluations.

Skills

• Experience working with pre-K-aged children, providing care and education in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.

• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with young children.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom materials and resources.

Requirements

-Minimum requirement of a CDA

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Special Education Experience a plus.
• Relevant certifications or credentials in early childhood education are highly desirable.
• Previous experience as a Lead Teacher with pre-K-aged children is required.

This full-time position will work the 9 AM - 6 PM shift, with a 1 hour lunch break.
