Job Description
SQL & BI Engineer (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with a growing organization seeking a SQL-focused Data and BI Engineer to support reporting, ETL, and data initiatives. This role has strong visibility across business units and leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Write and optimize SQL for reporting, data pipelines, and data fixes
- Build and support reports in SSRS and Power BI (migration in progress)
- Develop dashboards and visualizations for business users
- Perform data analysis and light performance tuning
- Work within and improve existing data models
What You Bring
- Strong SQL skills (required)
- Experience with SSRS and/or Power BI
- Background in ETL / data pipelines
- Comfortable handling reporting, data issues, and ad hoc requests
Environment
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite
- Modernizing reporting stack (SSRS → Power BI)
- Stable team with DBA support
Compensation
- $100K – $140K base
