The Kitchen Utility staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth support operations in the kitchen. This role ensures all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas are clean and organized to support efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, storage areas, and waste disposal zones
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic preparation tasks when required
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per hygiene standards
- Handle dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely
- Refill cleaning supplies and inform supervisor about shortages
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines)
- Support kitchen team during busy hours
- Maintain personal hygiene and uniform standards at all times
Skills & Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and cleaning procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-temperature setting
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
- Team player with good coordination skills
- Discipline, punctuality, and willingness to learn
Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts (morning/evening/night)
- Standing for long hours
- Exposure to heat, water, and cleaning chemicals
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum education: 10th pass
- Prior experience in hotel/restaurant kitchen is a plus
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
