Job Description

Play a pivotal role in food science as a Product Development Coordinator at our Auckland facility. Lead trials and enhancements to new products, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

This role involves critical responsibilities from planning to execution of product, packaging, and ingredient trials. You will collaborate closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to deliver capability projects while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Active participation in the Bakery Operations Leadership Team allows you to influence site performance and coach teams toward operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of product and ingredient trials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project delivery
  • Ensure compliance and risk assessment of trials
  • Drive improvements in production efficiency and changeovers
  • Communicate project status and outcomes effectively

Requirements

  • Degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar
  • Experience managing technical trials and projects
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process flows
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
