Supply Chain Data Analyst, Server Infrastructure Planning

The Supply Chain Data Analyst supports short-term cloud infrastructure demand and capacity planning for server deployments. The role delivers data-driven insights that inform rack deployment planning, demand-supply alignment, and operational decision-making across the Server Supply Chain Planning and Forecasting team. This position combines deep analytical work with cross-functional collaboration to improve planning accuracy, data reliability, and execution outcomes.

Perform exploratory data analysis on server supply chain demand, capacity, and deployment data to identify trends, gaps, and operational risks. Develop analytical models, Excel-based analyses, and Power BI dashboards to support short-term planning and forecasting decisions. Evaluate data sources, assumptions, and analytical techniques to ensure accuracy and relevance of insights. Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business and operational stakeholders. Support short-term rack deployment planning and contribute to ongoing data migration efforts toward SAP systems. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automate data collection, and strengthen reporting processes. Review analytical models for validity and performance, and investigate root causes when outputs are insufficient. Collaborate across planning, forecasting, and upstream Azure partner teams to align on data, processes, and execution priorities. Data and model accuracy, including reliability of validation processes, analytical models, and reporting outputs. Ability to identify gaps in datasets, assumptions, or analytical approaches. Operational impact, demonstrated by improved planning visibility, stronger demand-supply alignment, and higher quality decision-making driven by analytical insights. High-impact analytical role with direct influence on cross-team operational and planning decisions. Exposure to complex, large-scale server infrastructure and supply chain data within a cloud environment. Opportunity to strengthen advanced analytics, planning, and decision-support capabilities aligned with future supply chain or analytics leadership paths.
